Chris Krok Bio

Chris Krok is the proud son of a former Chicago Police Officer.  He is proud to have been birthed in the City of Chicago..proud to have come from the salt of the earth: dad was a cop, mom was a nurse.

Krok went from Jefferson City, MO at KLIK where he was Program Director and Talk Show Host to WTDY-AM/Madison, WI where he was Talk Show Host and Promotions Director. That’s when KSTP/Minneapolis called, only to be followed by WSB/Atlanta stealing him away.

After four years of nights in large markets, Krok wanted to go PRIME TIME again, landing back in Morning Drive at 50,000 watt WMAC/Macon...Only to be swept back into the big city again..this time in prime-time: Afternoons on the Legendary KLIF/Dallas-Fort Worth, where he belongs!

Krok has been a guest on cable TV news shows, like Bill O'Reilly and Lou Dobbs' on CNN.

Named by "Radio and Records" as one of the "Ten Up and Coming Talents to Watch" in 2009, Krok has been fortunate to receive numerous awards.  He was WSB's 2007 recipient of the "A.I.R" (Acheivement in Radio) Award.  "Talkers Magazine" named him as one of the 250 most important Talk Show Hosts in 2007.  "Madison Magazine" readers voted him a Top Market Personality in 2003.  As a Programmer, Krok saw Macon Telegraph readers vote WMAC as the "Best Radio Station" in its 2009 "Best of the Best" poll.  Krok was also listed as one of "Macon's Most Influential People" in a poll of "movers and shakers" by Macon Magazine in its 2009 edition.
