DPD Officer Steve called in today...had it right..this wasn't for safety, it was for glorification of Brown's son. DPD policy explicitly states a dry run must be done before such events, after Sr. Cpl. Victor Lazada died in the motorcade for Hillary Clinton in Feb 2008. They put every motorjockey at risk...for Brown's son. A DPD officer estimated the ride for Brown Jr.'s funeral to be 40 minutes. You telling me Chief Brown didn't notice flashing lights and shut down exits for 40 minutes? AND...BURNALL SAID "I DID IT FOR MY BOSS"....AND HE BOLDLY SAYS HE HAS "NO REGRETS"..know why? His BOSS has his BACK (Chief Brown). Burnall and Cato would NEVER do anything that would hurt their new boss. NOR would they do something their new boss didn't want. This WAS OK WITH CHIEF BROWN. Cato offficially apologized this aft (he was in the car with Burnall when he called to steal motor jockeys from Ofc. Shaw's funeral...was Brown in the car with them?). Latin Police Officer's Assoc. is hosting DPD Chiefs Bernall and Cato tomorrow night/Tues for an "emergency" meeting at their hq at 1409 S. Lamar, Suite #612 at 6pm..Is LPOA going to work with them and LULAC to try to save Bernall and Cato's jobs, as some are telling me? They shut down C.F. Hawn Highway, 75 (Central Expsswy) and Mockingbird. SICKLY, THEY PULLED 7 motorcycles and a squad OFF of slain Officer Craig Shaw's processional to make way for the cop killer. I'm told Dpty Chief Burnall ordered it. Brown was IN IT and should have called it off. He needs to go. The entire rank and file that called us says the same..Brown needs to go. It was difficult for them with the cop killing thing, but this is sick. Burnall MUST get fired, too, if he ordered this. Chief Brown and Burnall are a disgrace to the uniform, officer Shaw and police all across this nation. DPD Supporter Prior to today I was a supporter of Mary Suhn, Chief Brown, and Chief Cato. But to believe they allowed this is horrifying. The reason I state this is that a DPD officer stated to me that Chief Cato was in the car whe the order was given. He also stated that Chief Cato was in control of DPD at the time. He should have stopped this. To many times when a officer screws up the top brass are running to the media. WHERE ARE THEY NOW!!!!!!! He also stated that a email was sent out to his department in Dallas Cop If you dig deeply enough, you will find that pulling the officers off of the other procession was pre-planned. If it had been announced prior to the event, EVERY motorjock would have called in sick to avoid this sickening event. Instead, each officer was in full funeral preparation and, had they refused to follow orders, their jobs would have been in jeopardy.
