Chuck Shaheen, Mayor of Warner Robins must be investigated by the GBI and must be removed from office. Now we know why he demanded to know what questions Larra Lynch-Jones was going to ask him before she rolled tape, resulting in him walking off Monday night..He must've known THIS was coming (video here). Caught trying to throw out a felony. Saying it's not a big deal. City Councilman John Williams said a guy (who appears to be illegal, based on his description of him) offered to take 1,000 abandoned tires off the city's hands...was hired by Williams and the city for $700. They found them dumped on city property somewhere else. Since the city paid for it...Did Shaheen know and approve of using a possiblly illegal man? Did Shaheen know the man didn't have a permit from the EPA to dispose of them? Is that why he "threw it out"? A sitting mayor, only 2 mos into office, throwing a felony out? Can a mayor even legally do that? I think the cops got so disturbed by this, they went to 13 WMAZ to expose it. And then Shaheen pretends like he was confused about what the word "prosecution" means? This is the same "I didn't know" that he played when caught in a lie with me on my show. This time, he tried to get a felony, punishable by up to 5 years and a $25,000 fine, thrown out. WOW. GBI needs to come in, secure all docs (no shredding, City Atty Jim Elliott, like last time!), protect the integrity of the city, investigate the mayor AND CITY COUNCIL'S involvement in this and see if Shaheen and Williams broke any laws.
