Head of Pro-Illegal Protest Calls InMon, 24 May 2010Carlos Quintanilla, the head of "Accion America" called in today!! WHAT a RIOT! He had 1..yes..1 person show up today to boycott Frito Lay at his weekly 4-6pm Monday protests. 12 from our side showed up..for once, we outnumbered them, 12 to one!! At last week's protest..only 4 showed up!! In fact, I'll show you pics from today's and last weeks! Combine that with the fact that the Tostidos Bowl has not been cancelled and Pepsico, who owns Frito Lay, has seen their stock rise $2 in the past month..his protests have failed. So...in one breath, he said he was now going to protest my show and KLIF..then a moment later when I asked if he believes in Freedom of Speech, he said "Yes"..so then I asked, then why are you boycotting me..Which he then followed up by saying "I'm not going to boycott you.". OH..also...It remains to be seen: Since Carlos' protests have failed, will he keep having a few people show up every Monday..or will he simply cancell them (which would indicate a failure)? He wouldn't even answer me on that. He also acted like he put together/helped put together the illegal rally on May 1st (that we protested)..he claimed 100,000 people were there. First, if you google all the stories..or read them here (click on KROKTALK in the news), you'll see that 20-25,000 came...and you won't see his name anywhere. Why does he have to exaggerate? So...looks like he's trying to get his name in the paper...to profit from this by raising his profile. Lastly, patriots all across North Texas are buying Doritoes, Tostidos, Fritos, etc...and taping the bags to their bumpers, antennas and back windsheilds! AND..people are also spotting Latinos in grocery stores, etc..BUYING Frito Lay products!
