Star-Telegram' Elizabeth Zavala reports "gang-related shootings down 50% in Arlington".  Right.  That's comparing 6 weeks from last year to 6 weeks of this year.  Try the whole summer, not just 6 weeks.  And 6 shootings in 6 weeks is GOOD?? 6 gang shootings in six weeks in a suburb is good??  They picked the "worst" 6 weeks last year and compared it..you can pick any bad 6 weeks and compare it to the following or previous year to try to make it look good.  "T", aka Chief Theron Bowman, wrote up a press release and The Star-Telegram published it.  We ALL know how "T" feels about his gangs in his area, don't we?

DMN did a 1 1/2 page spread..front Metro Section cover story over the weekend for the 40 year old gay Dallas church, "Cathedral of Hope".  If homosexual sex and out of wedlock sex is ok, then certainly adultery and other sins are.  This is not a church..it's a club that does nice things for others, which won't get you into heaven.  This is the same church that brought the "gay Jesus" play, showing The Messiah as a gay man, doing gay marriages.  That's not a church.

Corrinne Peters, the Coppell murdering Mayor's daughter, had STELLAR grads and GREAT reviews by her counselor, saying she'd really turned into a person of confidence and initiative AFTER her father passed and that her 4.93 out of a 5.0 GPA would have been even HIGHER if she didn't lose her dad 2 years ago.  In otherwords, she wasn't an inconsolable, depressed, suicided-thinking girl.  Her mom was.  Her mom was mad that Corrine was doing WONDERFULLY and had a GREAT future, but NOT MOM.  Mom took her down with her in her misery.  SHAME on Linda P. Campbell at Star-Telegram for seemingly BLAMING CORRINE!! (read last full paragraph..HOW WRONG SHE WAS, trying to excuse the white upper class mom who reminds her..of herself)  Email Linda P. Teen mom takes TAKS test 6 times and still fails and is mad. "I went to school for 12 years and THIS is what I get?  Going back every summer to take a test?".  She want's the Obama Trophy:  An award/diploma..just for showing up!  Don't worry, though...she tells the DMN she's "CONFIDENT".  THAT'S our Obama girl: Confident, but failing.
