The BIGGEST topic this week so far, taking up 1/2 of the show for two days straight: The DISD teacher who sent a Poisonous, nasty email to trustee Edwin Flores.

As you've heard by now, he's been reinstated.  It's unbelievable how many folks SUPPORT this guy. 

OH..btw, an ASTUTE listener did a property records search on the teacher, since the teach was so interested in finding and listing all the property Flores owns, and saying Flores is "greedy" for being in business...The listener reports this "victim" teacher MAY own a second home..stand by, b/c I'll need to confirm it first!

And..did you hear the discussion on the FW panhandler at the Reata restaurant downtown? 

The JOB CREATOR/TAX PAYER owner of the Reata is GRILLED by Bob Ray Sanders in the Star-Telegram, but the panhandler who's been ticketed 43 times for begging, 3 times for possession of drug paraphanalia, 4 times for disorderly conduct/language and once for littering...He's the VICTIM!

My favorite moment: the so-called Christian lady who tried to take me to task.  LOVE that she apparently doesn't know who wrote Corinthians and that she says something like "you're not the Christian I know".  Right.  The reason I brought up Corinthians is b/c Paul writes (paraphrase) "dont' feed the bums"..He says if someone CAN take care of himself but refuses to work, you should NOT help them.

This guy in FW wants to live HIS way:  on drugs and without the rules that the Salvation Army or another homeless shelter would put on him: sobriety, getting a job and a bank account and becoming SELF SUFFICIENT.

The folks that CLAIM to be "helping" him, like Bob Ray, are actually saying that he (panhandler) CAN'T do any better.  Someone should "tell him the truth in love" as the Bible says, by telling him he CAN do better than being a drugged up bum.  He's worth more than this.  That's love.  If it was THEIR brother, they'd tell him this.

Lastly:  What a RIOT with the lady who illegally squatted on the Downtown FW Community College campus overlooking the Trinity River!

She just shows up, like Occupy, with 20-70 people, expecting to have a wedding on the campus, unannounced, and is OUTRAGED when they throw her off.  Bud Kennedy at the Star-Telegram was supporting this "victim" in that story.  And THEN, after it's in the paper, the Vice Prez or Vice Provost at the CC APOLOGIZES!!

Unbelievable how folks are trying to justify all of these stories..AND how DISD and the CC are all backing down.  No one wants to stand for what's right anymore!! (Or, I should say, LESS folks want to stand for what's right)

Did you hear about the City Councilman (Mel Leblanc) in Arlington who admitted to doing Meth and went missing for over a month (supposedly for rehab)?  Cops found meth in his HOUSE.  WHY didn't he get charged??  AND..Leblanc appears to be saying this makes him MORE qualified, AND that he's "not slowing down" and he wants to run for CONGRESS, too!!

He should be removed from office and should take 1-3 years to stay sober and take care of himself before attempting be in that office.  As far as congress, that's unthinkable.  We're digging for the police report and info from APD as to why Leblanc wasn't charged.  It's got to be a felony.

Mayor Rawlings in Dallas is hiding from pro-gay folks..HYSTERICAL..we touched on it today and will do more tomorrow.

Did you know a racist, Jew-hater was helping run Dallas Co's Dept of Homeland security?

The founder of the "new black panther party" is so racist that even the ORIGINAL Black Panther Party has sued it and called it racist, seeking to have them stop using their name!  The Anti-Defamation League and Southern Poverty Law Center brand them as racist. 

How did this guy get on Homeland Security in Dallas Co?  HOW ELSE?!  JWP, John Wiley Price!! :)

His puppet, Dallas Co. Judge Clay Jenkins, says "its' just politics" when he stopped this from continuing.   RIGHT, the ADL and SPLC and Panthers..and me..All say the same.  RIGHT.  Politics.  Proving he's JWP's sock puppet once again!

OMGosh..did you hear when we talked about the City of Fort Worth saying they want to spend $50,000 on showers for people who bike to work?!  It also would cost $6,500/year to clean 'em.

Now, keep in mind FW is #47 out of 50 for cities who bike to work!  It's right next to Dallas at #49 who has only .1% of it's commuters cycling to work.

SO...we did the math!  The showers will be for 6 employees!  That comes in at $8,333 per shower stall per employee!  All this, with no empirical evidence for demand, etc.  WHAT a joke.  MAN, did we have fun with this on air!

And that's with a last minute $284 car repair, $120 for math books for my homeschooled boychild..and more..God is great!  We are blessed!  Now, if we can just get a President who thinks like this...

In some Dallas zip codes, 60% of Black women have HIV.  That shouldn't be a :29 second mention on the news as it was.  I tied that in with this DISD program for troubled black girls.  Some of the girls were saying "some teachers don't want us there" and "we're being told you can't do it [succeed]".

Who's telling these girls to think like that?  Where is that coming from?

From their dad?  No, b/c he's not there (72% black kids born out of wedlock)

From BET?  No, they're telling them they're a "ho"

From their Pastor?  No, he's telling them the FBI is after black folks like John Wiley Price and that DPD goes out of its way to kill black folks.

What child has a future with this?  What school can educate a kid who has no father and no self esteem?

These girls have no self esteem.  That's why they lay down with men who use them like a piece of meat.  I'm glad the school's trying to help, but the real problem is the family, not the school.  I hope you heard the calls on this one, including from a Principal and teachers.

The day afer we talked about the Iranian-British Dr. who's sister and family were killed in the Grapevine Christmas Day massacre..the Dr. called for guns to be banned here, like in Britain...

..the day after that discussion..I told you the story of an OKC area woman, just North of us on 35, who's husband passed away from cancer on Christmas day.

A strange man approached her at the funeral and said he'd show up at her house.

A few days later, this tiny 18 year old woman and her 9 month old baby were home alone when the guy returned with a 12 inch bladed hunting knife at her door..with another man. 

She called 911 as they attempted to enter through each door. 

She put a bottle in her baby's mouth and went and got her deceased husband's shotgun and pistol.

She wanted so badly NOT to shoot, that she asked the operator if she COULD.

The second the 24 year old broke into the door, she shot and killed him.  The other man turned himself in.

If that Iranian-British Dr. got his way, he'd have left that woman to herself to be raped and killed..and her baby.

You know, it's funny..one of the folks posting on CBS 11's website on this story said "people love their guns more than their kids".  Well, in this case, the gun SAVED the kid.  If there was no gun, the kid would be DEAD.

While she was gone, she left a to do list..and..we did lots of stuff that usually Grandparents do!  It was FUN (SOME of it!)!

Like... Bagging leaves!!  20 BAGS FULL!

PLUS.... HOURS at LEGOLAND DISCOVERY CENTER!!

and lastly... YES, it was MY idea to make cookies from scratch..we decorated them, too..but sadly, I didn't take the pic until we had just this last 'lil one left.  Do you see the REPAIR JOB/SURGERY we had to do on this guy's shoulder??? They fall apart EASILY before baked.
AND..since mom wasn't here..we ate LOTS of the cookie dough!

Kids went NUTS over the new Wii.  They've ALREADY learned Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star on the new keyboard.

Mom's got me doing LOTS of chores around the house!  Cleaning cars, fixing drapes and MORE LEAVES to blow!

Mom will be outta' town for a few, leaving dad with 2 kids.  WATCH OUT!  We'll be hitting Lego Discovery Center, the mall (which is the best kid-friendly mall?  with a carousel..one where I won't get knifed at?), and will be baking cookies to bring to friends' houses!
